BlueBox Micro is a small replica of the BlueBox project. The circuit board was manufactured by JLCPCB with the 686 LEDs soldered already, so only the control circuitry on the back side had to be soldered by hand. A 3D printed enclosure was designed in a shape that roughly corresponds to the size of the original BlueBox building.
Features
- 98x7 = 686 pixels, aspect ratio 7:22
- SD card
- MCUF stream via RS232
- 115200 baud (max. 16 fps)
- stream output for all displayed frames (no matter whether they come from the microcontroller's flash memory, the SD card or an incoming stream)
- power supply: 5 V, max. 1.1 A
Hardware
- Schematic Rev. 1.0 (PNG image)
- PCB Layout Rev. 1.0 (Gerber files)
- Kit Instructions Rev. 1.1
Software
This project uses the BlinkenPlus firmware.
